We also have our award winning SAFE Hearts educational material which enables parents to have shoulder to shoulder kid-versations about difficult topics about protecting their hearts and bodies.

About Robin

My life changed on June 29th 2012 when I joined Damsel in Defense. Not knowing anything about stun guns, or pepper sprays, didn’t deter me from making a life changing decision.

These statistics hit home with me:

1 in 5 women victims will be sexual assaulted,
1 in 3 women experience domestic violence and
1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before the age of 17

Being a victim myself as an adolescent by a family member and living in domestic violence for 20 years, I knew I had to help others by empowering them with safety tools.
