Marketing is something many business owners struggle with as well! In this series of workshops, you will learn the secrets of Marketing M.A.G.I.C. and how it will connect you with a potential buyer and convert that connection into a sale.
We will focus on the basic concepts of marketing and how to use the effective (yet daunting) platform of the internet to achieve your goals. This will include email marketing and posts; social media platforms, video, your RC Arts profile and your own website in ways that will be cost-effective but most importantly, EFFECTIVE, in getting more sales!

Workshop #1: Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 6 to 8 pm
The first piece of the marketing puzzle is you, the Artist, and the work you create. Chances are you are really good at what you do and you love doing it. That is true for any successful artisan or entrepreneur. In order to connect to your target market, you need to understand and the principles of marketing. At this first session we will cover:
- What are your goals as an artist? (You can’t achieve what you don’t define.)
- The M.A.G.I.C. Marketing formula and it will positively impact all your marketing efforts
- How to develop and manifest your Brand as an artist. What’s your Story?
- What your buyer is looking for and what will motivate them to act. What’s their WIIFM?
- The ROI Factor: What is the bridge between price point and sale?

Workshop #2: Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 6 to 8 pm
My mantra is to use “Hi-Tech Solutions with Hi-Touch Strategies for Hi-Five Results”. Since we defined your “Hi-Five Results” during Day 1, at this session we will cover Hi-Touch situations and how to implement the M.A.G.I.C. Marketing formula. This will include exhibits or trade shows as well as chance encounters.
- How the layout of your booth will create that important first impression
- What’s in a name? How your “job title” and titles of your pieces are factors in making connections
- How to approach a potential buyer (do’s & don’ts)
- When should you be marketing yourself? (all the time!)

Workshop #3: Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 6 to 8 pm
At this session we will cover the very important (but sometimes daunting) arena of the internet. Social media, videos, your website, and email marketing will all play a role in helping you achieve your goals.

- Why every artist should have a video (and update it)
