Applications are currently being accepted for the “Linda Kobayashi Strive for Strength” scholarship. A one thousand dollar ($1000) college scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior. This scholarship program honors the legacy of Linda Kobayashi who believed young people benefit from relationships they cultivate in their schools, community, and athletic endeavors; moreover, she believed that these relationships become a springboard through which these young people become productive and responsible adults.
Scholarship Application
The scholarship will be awarded to a female graduating senior with an excellent academic record, a history of consistent community service activities, and whose written essay best answers the question she selects from the list provided.

Strive For Strength
is a non-profit organization run out of the Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation. We are high school teenagers trying to inform, educate, and empower young women in our community about life lessons and social pressures.
Proceeds from S4S goes towards funding the ”Linda Kobayashi Scholarship” which will be available to a qualified senior that attends the retreat.
